The largest country in South Asia is India with 3.287 million km2 and It is also a most
populous country in SouthAsia with 1.324 billion in 2016. As it counts in a World's one of the
most populous country in World. The population density of this country is 382 person per
sq.km. The capital city of India is New Delhi and the official language of this country is Hindi.
The currency used in this country is Indian Rupee.

2. Pakistan

After  India, Pakistan is the second largest country. The total population of Pakistan is 
200,417,052 In term of population It counts as a fifth most populous country. Total Area of
Pakistan is 881913 sqkm2. As you compare this country around all over countries in the
world, It’s rank is in 33rd position. The population density of this country is 251 person per
sq.km. The capital city of Pakistan is Islamabad and the official language of this country is
Urdu. The currency used in this country is Pakistani rupee.

3. Afganistan

It is the 3rd biggest country in South and its area is 652,860 Km2 (252,071 sq. miles). It is
the newest country in South Asia. In 2017, the population of this country is estimated at
36,373,176 The population density of this country is 53.1 person per sq.km. The name of
The Capital city of this country is Kabul and Both Pashto and Dari are the official language
and most widely spoken a language in Afghan. The currency of Afghanistan is related to its
name which is the Afghan Afghani.

 4. Bangladesh

Comparing to the whole world Bangladesh Ranked on 8th in 221 countries (in term of the
population) which is 152,518,015(it is according to the census 2011).  The total area of
this country is 147570 km2. Thus it ranks on four Biggest countries in South Asia. The
The population density of this country is 1,252 person per sq.kmThe capital city of
Bangladesh is Dhaka and the official language of this country is Bengali. The currency used
in this country is Bangladeshi Taka.


 5. Nepal

Nepal is the 5th Biggest country in South Asia and It’s area is 147570 km2. According to the
census of 2016, the total population of Nepal is 26494504. But Now the total population is
near 30000000. The population density of this country is 199.5 person per sq.km. The
capital city of Nepal is Kathmandu and the official language of this country is Nepali. Th
currency used in this country is Nepalese Rupee.


 6. Sri Lanka

Srilanka is an Island and It is the 6th biggest country in South Asia. Its total area is
65610km2. The total population of this country is 20,950,041. The population density of this
country is  338 person per sq.km. The capital city of Srilanka is Colombo and the official
language of this country is Sinhalese and Tamil. The currency used in this country is Sri
Lankan rupee.  

7. Bhutan                                                             

Bhutan is the 7th biggest country or 2nd last smallest country of South Asia. Its Total area is
38394km2. The total population of this Country is  817,054. The population density of this
country is 20.9 person per sq.km. The capital city of Bhutan is Thimphu and the official
language of this country is Dzongkha. The currency used in this country is Bhutanese
ngultrum.


8. Maldives

The Maldives is an island and the Smallest Country in  South Asia which ranked 8th out of
8th. The total area of this country is 298 km2 and It is also one of the smallest countries in
Asia.  The total population of this country is 443,413 The population density of this country is
1,102 person per sq.km. The capital city of Maldives is Male and the official language of this
country is Dhivehi. The currency used in this country is Maldivian Rufiyaa.
