Short Description of Nepal
Nepal is a landlocked country, lies in Southern Asia. It is situated between 2 big countries (India and China). Although Nepal is small in size it is a world in itself. Altitude Range of Nepal is from 64 meters to 8848-kilometer. Kathmandu is the Capital city of this country. This Country is divided into 3 Region.
1. Terai Region(flat) which is the lower part.
2.Hilly Region(Hill) which is the middle part.
3.Himalayan Region(Mountain)which is the upper part.
Over 100 different castes live in Nepal with peacefully and like a family. Nepal country can be defined as a 'Unity in Diversity'. Nepal Can be compared to a small piece of heaven.
Now, Coming in a Topic there are hundreds of Attractive places in Nepal. Among them, I will
show you some famous visiting sites of Nepal where If u get chance to visit Nepal you
shouldn't miss this Places. I am showing a list of some visiting places but there are even Many beautiful sites than Below list. But, According to Tourists, People they said that below list are top visiting sites of Nepal. I am showing below list by list or number by number but it doesn't mean that Number 1 is more attractive then number 2. The main things you have to keep in mind is you should never miss this place if u came in Nepal. Before listing, I want to say you that Nepal has many sites which are Listed in world heritage sites Which you should not miss to visit. And, I feel so lucky to born in this Country. My Love My NEPAL.
Now, not wasting Time I am going to show you top visiting sites one by one.
1. Mount Everest
Mount Everest is the world highest Mountain.it's Height is 8848 meter. It is located in Solukhumbhu District. It attracts many Climbers, some of them are experienced Climbers. There are two climbing routes, one is from Nepal and another is from Tibet. But, Mainly people want to climb Mount Everest from Nepal because as you know, Mount Everest is Situated in Nepal. It is located in Sagarmatha zone of Solukhumbhu District. Nepali name of Mount Everest is Sagarmatha. Every year, The climber in Everest increases.
Before climbing Everest you should keep in mind that Mount Everest contains some dangers like Altitude sickness, weather changes, Avalanche. So before climbing Everest, you should have proper
knowledge of Weather and some other knowledge of Everest.
About some features, In This zone, there is located Sagarmatha National park which is listed in UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
2. Lumbini
Lumbini is the famous sites in all over the World. It is located in Nepal's Rupendehi District. It is a pilgrimage site of Buddhist. It is the birthplace of World famous Gautam Buddha which is also known as the light of Asia. Gautam Buddha real name is Siddhartha Gautam, Queen of Son Mayadevi. Thus in this place, you will found many Unique Stupa and Temple. People from all over the world came to this place to visit.
Though, Lumbini is also Listed in UNESCO World heritage sites in 1997 AD. It is one of the holy places of World's Great religion as well which Describes the Buddhist religion. I will again repeat that Gautam Buddha was known as the lightening of Asia.
3. All Kathmandu Valley
Kathmandu, Capital city of Nepal. Kathmandu is fully covered with the heritage sites only. AS Kathmandu is one of the smallest District in Area. But, in case of sites within a small territory, i think it creates a history. More than Half of World heritage sites of Nepal. It locates in Kathmandu. so I will list below Some famous sites Located in Kathmandu Valley.
1. Buddha = It is the Buddhist sites which are listed in UNESCO world heritage sites. A crowd of people to visit Bouddha will Never finish. Especially, at Night it looks awesome.
2. Swayambhunath = It is also a Buddhist site which is listed in UNESCO world heritage sites. It is located on the top of the hill of Kathmandu valley. All Kathmandu Valley can be seen from the Swayambhunath.
3. Pashupatinath = Pashupatinath is a Hindu site which is also listed in UNESCO world heritage sites.
4. Bhaktapur Durbar Square = It is also listed in world heritage sites and one of the famous sites in Nepal.
5. Patan Durbar Square =It is also listed in world heritage sites and famous in all over Nepal.
4. RARA lAKE
Rara Lake is located in district Jumla and Mugu. It is Nepal's Deepest and Biggest fresh lake of Nepal. Its length is 5.1 km and it's wide is 2.7 km with a surface area of 2,620 acres.
The main feature is to visit Rara lake is that there is also located National Park named Rara National Park. Tourism mainly Attracts and Number of People to visit Rara Lake increases from few Decades.
5. Chitwan National Park
Chitwan National park is located in Nepal in a district of Nawalparsi, Chitwan, Makwanpur, and Parsa. It is the first National Park of Nepal which is also listed in UNESCO world heritage sites. Its total area is 932-kilometer.
It is one of the Famous Tourist sectors in Nepal. There are many species of Animals, birds, insects, snake e.t.c Here many endangered animals are safe in this National park.
